Yo Wasco Brothers!
You guys are great. I came across your stuff while checking out bands on CD Baby. You attracted my attention mostly because you're from Eastern Oregon. I went to high school in Hermiston, about 100 years ago. Live in Long Beach, CA now, where I'm in a band called Back Home. Check out the myspace site: www.backhomeband.com. Anyway, I listened to your songs and I love your sound. Would you mind if I cover "What You Doin' in Abilene?" Of course I'd never record it, just do it at gigs. Let me know...it's a great tune.

let me tell you about the drummer jeff minnick...back in the day as young kids fishing the deadly slew in The Dalles I was attacted in shallow water by "Big Erbert"...a monster credited with 22 deaths.
he had me by my grapes,i told jeff to run, save himself..dont hurt your pricless hands..but jeff fears no giant carp! knowing that grabbing the killer fish by the rod..[a old indian trick] Big-E would open his hook filled maw.pulling me to safty,Jeff tried mouth to mouth[that i refused]threw me over the saddle of his sting ray and rode us to safty.
"Jeff the mighty" became the hero of Lone Pine cafe and the Marion Sawyer Hall of Fame.your drummer is a man amoung men..rock-on

Jeff-
Traveling down the Gorge and picked up some literature... saw the photo of the band and don't know why, but immediately had a feeling Jeff Minnick (everybody's first kiss at Dry Hollow) was in the band. Checked out your website and confirmed that gut feeling... too weird for words. Anyway, glad you're still playing the drums. I remember how proud everyone was of you at the 8th grade concert when you played at the high school. Could remind you of more Jeff Minnick-Kim Clark-Beth Martin stories, but I'll let you rely on your own memory. Also, thinking fondly of my favorite eye doctor; your dad.

I believe those are the finest looking boots I've ever seen. My compliments to the band and the cobbler.
